Arts National Coffs Coast
"Connect, Enrich, Inspire"
We believe that the arts can enrich people’s lives, and we aim to be an inclusive and influential educator, supporter, and promoter of the arts in the Coffs Coast region region with members and guests coming from Woolgoolga in the north to Dorrigo to the west and Nambucca to the south.
WHAT IS ARTSNATIONAL COFFS COAST?
We are a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers, providing superbly illustrated, informative and entertaining arts talk presentations on many diverse topics relating to the arts. In the Coffs Coast region, ArtsNational Coffs Coast society has become a focus of cultural activities, connecting people with the arts, and with each other.
ArtsNational Coffs Coast provides members and visitors with a unique opportunity to connect with a wide variety of arts, design and conservation related art talks and activities at local and regional levels.
ArtsNational National is a member of ArtsNational which is the governing body of 36 ArtsNational Societies in Australia and more than 5,500 members across regional and metropolitan Australia.
WHY DO PEOPLE JOIN US?
People come and learn more about the arts in a friendly welcoming environment. Anyone who wishes to develop or already has an interest in the arts is very welcome. Members and guests enjoy cultural and social opportunities and make new friends over a light supper of sandwiches and sushi as well as a glass of wine or juice.
WHAT ELSE DO WE DO?
ArtsNational Coffs Coast Young Arts philanthropy supports arts opportunities for young people in Australia.
ArtsNational Coffs Coast may choose to be sole sponsors of a project or combine with other community organisations in joint ventures.
Young Arts projects are diverse and may include individual or group initiatives. Recipients can range from pre-schoolers to tertiary students.
Young Arts encompasses literature, music, photography, performing and fine arts.
ArtsNational Coffs Coast also supports young conservators through the ArtsNational philanthropic fund - the Patricia Robertson Fund.
WHO ARE OUR ARTS TALKS SPEAKERS?
Recognised experts and passionate in their field of interest, international or local presenters drawn from a variety of professional backgrounds.
CAN VISITORS COME ALONG TO OCCASIONAL ARTS TALKS?
Yes – Guests are very welcome to come along to arts talks of their choice.
ArtsNational Coffs Coast is open to everyone, and new members are very welcome.
WHERE DO WE MEET?
Our lectures are held in the St John Paul College Theatre, 421 Hogbin Drive, Coffs Harbour, NSW, 2450
Entrance 600m south of Coffs Harbour Education Campus roundabout on Hogbin Drive. The Theatre is located on the northern section of St John Paul College. Turn right after entering the College. Park in the northern car park near the Chapel and Theatre. Disability parking spaces next to the Theatre.
